Armstrong Trails welcomes you to Armstrong and Clarion Counties, we invite you to enjoy hours of recreation. Armstrong Trails currently has 52.5-miles of trail on the eastern bank of the Allegheny River for trail users to enjoy. Whether you bike, walk, hike, run, geocache or are a history buff. There are plenty of opportunities to explore our beautiful countryside, signs of days gone by, flora/fauna, birds, wildlife and of course, the beautiful Allegheny River.

Gilpin/Leechburg Park

Leechburg Gilpin Park is biggest park in the Leechburg area. It is packed with lots of things to do. It features:
Three baseball fields.
A 4 hoop basketball court.
A two court tennis court.
5 Main Covered pavilions.
Two main and some adjacent kids playground equipment.
Several Pokemon Go Stops / Ingress Portals for those who enjoy virtual gaming.

Kiski River Campsites

Located near the intersection of the Kiski River and Allegheny River, you will find some of the best fishing and boating around here! 
Lease a campsite with full hookups along with your personal dock slip.  Travel up the Kiski River in your boat or down the Allegheny River to the Point at Pittsburgh where the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio Rivers meet.
Leases begin April 1 ending October 31 , your R.V. can stay year round even after the campground closes and assess can be arranged.

Leechburg Area Pool

The Leechburg Area Pool has been a source of community connection and recreation for over 50 years. A resource that was created by volunteers and community members the LAP has survived as a local summertime staple in the Alle-Kiski Valley since the first swimmer hit the water in August 1962.    Settled adjacent to the Gilpin - Leechburg Park in a quiet wooded area away from the hustle & bustle of city life.  You can still find some long time favorites like the high dive, "big slide", and the sand volleyball court on the lush green grounds.  You will also finds some new additions:  a giant checkerboard, ga-ga ball pit, fountain in the baby pool and an ADA lift - the LAP has something for everyone.
